The Workplace-Based Assessment in Health Professions Education program is designed for health professions educators engaged in the development, implementation, and management of workplace assessments in both undergraduate and postgraduate education. This program aims to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to effectively conduct workplace-based assessments (WBA) in healthcare education settings.

Course Modules:
The program is divided into four modules, each covering specific aspects of workplace-based assessment:
WBA Module 1 – Review of WBA Pedagogy: This module provides an overview of the pedagogical principles and foundations of workplace-based assessment.
WBA Module 2 – Using WBA Tools & Implementation and Management: Participants will learn how to effectively use WBA tools and strategies for implementing and managing workplace assessments.
WBA Module 3 – Feedback Principles / Observer Training: This module delves into the principles of delivering feedback and provides training for observers and assessors.
WBA Module 4 – Managing Systems of WBA: Participants will gain insights into the management of systems for workplace-based assessment, including the use of portfolios and technology.
