Expert head and neck radiologists from across North America will address everything you ever wanted to know about the temporal bone and facial nerve, starting with a comprehensive review of both normal and critical anatomy. Subsequent sessions will explore pathology causing conductive and sensorineural hearing loss, as well as pulsatile tinnitus, followed by clinical analyses of inflammatory and infectious processes. A uniquely relevant symposium focused on interpretive skills and postoperative insights, the symposium concludes with an interactive review of cases from this complex region which most radiologists are not familiar with.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Identify important imaging anatomy of the temporal bone
Evaluate the most common pathologies of the temporal bone
Discuss the critical imaging differentials of pathology of the temporal bone
Explain how pathology of the temporal bone changes the complex anatomy, and the common imaging critical check points based on clinical presentation
Target Audience
General radiologists and neuroradiologists seeking to increase their knowledge and improve their skills in head and neck imaging.
